A BOMB is dropped

Highlight to reveal.....

Dylan is the father?!?!

Suprising and yet not Surprising. It doesn't match my earlier prediction but it does at least go along with how the "original" series ended nine years ago, so that makes me happy.

Topics to discuss:

1. Okay- Naomi and her mother do not look like they could be mother and daughter. Naomi looks WAY too old, and her mother looks WAY to young. And, we're supposed to believe that the mother has an older child (son) with the principal guy?

2. Am I supposed to care about Naomi and Silver's "friendship"?

3. I like Stacey's thoughts- when will we see the periphery people- a personal favorite/blast from the past from the original series, remember when Matthew Perry (who I secretly love) played the Tennis star who fooled around with his dad's guns and Brandon was very torn about what to do?
or another favorite, Gabrielle Anwar (lately of "Burn Notice" and "The Tudors") starred as the figure skater who just wanted to be normal.

Sigh......

PS- I never even watched all of "Privileged", but I'm slowly being pulled into "Fringe"

CREEPY- but the first two episdoes have been heavily Boston based, and I love me some

Fringe - I haven't seen episoide 2 (for tomorrow) but I LOVED the pilot. Stacey thinks Pacey needs acting lessons but I have a sweet spot for him. The lead female is an amazing actress - why have we never heard from her?

Observations on 90 -
1. Naomi's mom is a better actress than she is. Too late to recast Naomi?

2. I too love the lesson episoides - seems like Dixon (could they have picked a more black name, by the way) would be good with that. They tried for it with the whole "car accident/working too much" thing but it was no Brandon getting in too deep with Nat's bookie. Speaking of Nat - hello, bad dye job. Couldn't he have stayed grey? He married Joanie when she found out she was pregnant when Steve was having a birthday party thrown by a Prince (who was in love with Claire) and the Goo-goo Dolls played. Wow, I watch a lot of SoapNet while breastfeeding - we just finished the Crazy Emily Valentine episoides where she is really sorry she slipped Bradon euphoria (god forbid they say exstacy).

3. I LOVED seeing grandma signing "mama" or whatever that song was. I want more of her - why not keep her as a director - way too brief a plotline IMHO.

4. I was surprised they dropped the baby daddy name so quickly - do you think this means he has signed on? A do-gooder? I've been watching old eps on SoapNet and I don't see much of Iris in him.

5. Shannon Doherty - looks old. Discuss.

6. Remember how Vampire pastey Kelly was? Old eps really bring it back for me - especially how pale she was the summer she spent on the beach.

7. Rob Thomas should incorporate a mystery - I MISS Veronica Mars.

I saw Privileged and enjoyed the Pilot - Baby Nurse is now addicted. She's used to working for rich families. :)

Uh, Dylan?!? Seriously? That doesn't work for me. I'm only following the plot via this blog, though, til I get myself organized to watch it on SlingBox, so keep the updates coming. How does it compare? Better? Worse?

Okay, I don't feel the angst. I know they say that they're feeling stressed or bad that they wrecked the car, but seriously, everything gets resolved way too quickly for me. And yes, I totally agree about the peripheral characters. Well, maybe next week? I do, however, love that they keep referring to old 90210. I hope they keep that up.

I'll have to check out Fringe. I have been enjoying Privileged.

okay Naomi is the new donna martin because she is the WORST ACTRESS EVER!!! I kind of can't stand her and whenever she has a scene I want to turn the channel. However, I'm still loving the rest of the crew. Honestly, though, could Brenda look any rougher? Her teeth are getting further apart, she's had some sort of injections in her fact, and she just looks worn out, not good. I'm going to go ahead and overlook Mommy, esq little "black name" comment for the moment but I'll just say that I would probably discourage that kind of commentary for the general public my friend.
As a big fan of the musical theatre, i'm loving the the high school production of spring awakenings they're trying to pull off. in fact, i'll be in NYC next week and was trying to think of which show I want to see and last night's episode may have made up my mind.
I didn't get a chance to see the second episode of Privileged last night but i'm looking forward to it tonight, loved the first one.
alright, have to get back to work. this makes me want to go home and just watch my DVR recordings all day, but alas I cannot as there is much work to be done here!

I totally missed the first episode of Fringe. *sigh* I have the second one DVRd but I'm afraid that I'll have totally missed something and just not be "into" it. (Probably not such a bad thing considering all of the tv I already watch...)

And I haven't watched the entire episode of 90210, but I read who the father is...and I pretty much called it. Brenda would have been more...oh, I don't know, Aunt-ish? if it had been Brandon.
